Originating in the UK, then finally making its way over to NY in the likes of Pop Smoke and other NY drill artists, the sound has encaptured many artists from around the world and has drawn them to become inspired by the sound. Acceptance is something that hip-hop has always struggled with in the past, often being entirely led by one style and genre at a time, but now we are at a point in the game where everyone can co-exist and it doesn’t matter where you’re from. You can make music that moves people and be inspired by any and everything.
Born in Germany but raised in Miami FL, Sam Byrk is an artist that has taken a stab at the drill style and flow and has been doing an amazingly great job delivering a sound that fits right in with the usual crowd. With his latest project, I FEEL LIKE BYRK, this 8-track offering delivers more on the drill style, while still adding a few elements of his own; creating his own unique twist and swagger to each and every track. One of the standout tracks “GO!” is by far his greatest example of that, as he delivers amazingly to the evergrowing pool of drill music for fans to love and enjoy.
