Having the goal to be an influence in your own hood is something that many artists today aspire to accomplish in their careers. This is something that Oakland-born and raised artist Wavy Kamp Fee keeps in mind no matter what he does. One common misconception about influence is that in order for you to be considered influential, you have to be preaching about life lessons or teaching. While that may be the case with more conscious rappers and musicians, influence can be as single as creating a banger that makes you feel some type of way. That makes you want to turn up and feel the music. That being said, Wavy Kamp Fee is doing just that on his latest offering,”Fewap”.
Directed by VisualsByKyles, Fee is seen dressed in a all-black pinstriped suit with a red tie and handkerchief to match. Also sporting a Jheri curled wig, Fee is surrounded by good-looking women and his homies, as he gets his verses off. While the suit may not make sense at first glance, especially with the song’s production and content, it does add to his character and showcases just how sporadic his personality is. Wavy Kamp Fee is having fun, and that is one of the biggest key components for successful artists to thrive in today’s music scene.
