As the new year is here, and the “industry break” is over, it’s time for the artists to get back to work. Many of artists spent their time off creating, planning out moves for this year, and even thinking of new ways to break barriers and boundaries. For Boston-raised artist Tyler Loyal, he is back with a strong release this year to kick off everything that is about to transpire. Without further ado, here is “Back In Dat Mode” by Tyler Loyal.
Taking the time to reflect on our past is needed sometimes, especially when you are trying to envision where you’re going and where your journey will take you. Sometimes those days of self-reflection bring out the best in us, as it makes us remember where we came from, and how we never want to go back to old ways. “Back In Dat Mode” speaks to that and then some, serving as Tyler’s stamp that he is back and better than ever, and is ready to take the game by storm.
When speaking about the song’s internal message, Tyler Loyal says:
“I’ve been at my lowest, living off Cup Noodles and cold cut sandwiches. I’ve also been in the presence of financial freedom. Both experiences brought me to the same conclusion, I need to get rich. I made a promise to myself at 8 years old that I would be the one in my family to break the barrier and every day I live on this earth I’m trying to get myself closer to that end goal. This song is for the hustlers. It’s what it feels like to be fed up with your current state, get up and get to the bag.”
