Watch Ski Mask The Slump God Perform Karaoke For “Catch Me Outside” And “Life Is Short”

Jacob Lusted

Broward spitter Ski Mask The Slump God is a regular on our pages, and recently, he visited the good people at 88rising for a karaoke session to his most popular tracks “Catch Me Outside” & “Life Is Short.” For anyone who isn’t familiar with the two hits, the new video see’s Ski Mask rapping while the song lyrics appear on the screen like something out of the Karaoke Revolution video game from 2009. In other words, it’s also the perfect chance to catch all the pop-culture, 90’s-kid references in both tracks that make Ski so unique amongst the up-and-comers out of South Florida alongside names like Wifisfuneral and XXXTentacion. Nonetheless, I can guarantee this is the most entertaining karaoke session you’ve ever witnessed; so without further ado, peep the first episode of “Karaoke Royale” below and let us know which song you’re rocking with most in the comments section.

88rising brought Ski Mask to a Korean karaoke bar, sat him down for a casual interview over soju shots and snacks as he chatted with 88rising artist Joji and performed his single “Catch Me Outside” and “Life Is Short”.

You can sing along karaoke-style to the lyrics with a bouncing ski mask and DDR graphics.

“Catch Me Outside” is Ski’s flip on the Timbaland-produced Missy Elliott classic “She’s A Bitch”. This track has been quickly climbing up the Soundcloud charts and got a music video a few weeks ago.

“Life Is Short” is one of Ski’s most popular releases from 2016 off the VR Lost Files tape.

This episode of Karaoke Royale is the first of what will be an ongoing series for 88rising. We have future episodes with Famous Dex, KYLE, and more in the works.
