Equipped with a low-fi, laid-back style and an effortless sense of cool, Apex never fails to impress without breaking a sweat, and today, he’s here to take this to the COLORS studio with a brand new performance of “Vintage Garms.”
Taken off of his Smoke Sessions Vol. 2 project, this relaxed offering perfectly embodies the London representative’s style. Even further than his dense lyricism and natural charisma, perhaps Apex’s most alluring artistic trait is that of his deliveries. Rather than jumping in on a given instrumental, he seemingly floats just above the production, and the result is a dreamy style that brings listeners up into the clouds and beyond.
