Considering all of his plaques and timeless songs/features, it goes without saying that T Pain is a legend. However, one moment, in particular, that solidified this status to me was Pain’s Tiny Desk Concert, during which he proved that autotune or not, he’s one of the best vocalists alive. Today, not only do we get to see Pain put these vocals back on display, but we also get to see some of his production chops as he and Kenny Beats come forth with a brand new episode of Red Bull’s Remix Lab.
Clocking in at just under 40 minutes in length, this episode is a comprehensive look into the process of making a song, as shown between two undeniable hitmakers. The blend of T Pain’s inimitable humor with he and Kenny’s well-known musical prowess is truly a special sight to see, and furthermore, I’m sure that any aspiring artists/producers out there can learn from the countless gems of advice that they drop in the process. Personally, I haven’t watched the Remix Lab before now, but this episode has me running back some old segments to check out more.
That said, T Pain are an unlikely duo that put together a fantastic song here, so show some love and click play below!
