Long Beach producer Corey Cail makes his return to R&B music with his 5-track wasted time EP. Lately, I’ve been listening to more mood or atmospheric music as I do my daily work. This is so I can focus on my work and set the vibe that I want. ‘Wasted Time’ is the perfect R&B to throw on while doing so and you’ll even catch yourself running these tracks back over again with how smooth they are. Corey was able to recruit singers such as Zacari, DCMBR, and AzSwaye to provide vocals on a couple of these records and they were executed to perfection. While this project may only have a ten-minute run time its replay value is high in my book and leaves you wanting more in a good way. I hope Corey turns this into a series to where he can continue to drop short and to-the-point R&B-centric eps with rising and budding talent.
