Warrior – [Reese Youngn] x [Cubano Jam] x [Vani Beats] [BL Beats]

Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania’s rising rap star Reese Youngn has impressed with his latest song and visual entitled “Warrior.” Recently trending across several music outlets for his remix of Coi Leray’s popular track “No More Parties,” Youngn’s aggressive demeanor gave some listeners the impression that he’s more of a comedic artist. However, “Warrior” could not be any further from that claim, as the record perfectly captures the raw outpour of emotions expressed from Reese’s traumatic experience(s). Revealing that he’s “seen love walk out that door so many times,” the end result has brought upon an ugly combination of hatred and despair enveloping the artist’s soul. To prevent further tragedy and/or demise, Reese “learned how to keep his emotions in line and feelings straight,” which reflects an exhausting repression tactic that eventually empties one’s gas tank. Combined with the dangers of the streets, it’s clear that Youngn suffered from heartbreak at the worst possible time, to which has reinvigorated his life as a warrior. Production wise, the racing 808’s seamlessly mesh with a somber piano melody to emphasize Reese Youngn’s genuine anguish, as he openly shares his pain for the world to see.
