We may be a bit late on this one, but it’s never too late to give the people good music. As promised, on June 5th Alex Wiley brought us his Sophomore tape, “Village Party,” but if you were expecting it to be similar to his debut tape, “Club Wiley,” you may have been mislead, but definitely not let down. Wiley stated that he was still finding himself as an artist when Club Wiley was released, even though the tape had plenty of great reviews, he doesn’t want that tape to really depict him as a musician. With knowing exactly what he wanted to put together for his following project and some help from Closed Sessions, he did just that with Village Party. Not really trying to rally together big name features like he did with CW, but more so just keeping it in the family and perfecting his craft and sound with comfortability. Alex Wiley is an extremely versatile artist, and you will without-a-doubt be able to hear that in this tape, so stream it below!
