Skepta’s sound can best be described as ominous – gray and cloudy with a remarkable aggression that speaks to his charismatic personality and threatening lyricism. With the fitting holiday of Halloween today, the BBK artist surprised fans with a new EP titled Vicious, 6 tracks in length with noteworthy features from A$AP Rocky, A$AP Nast, the Section Boyz, and even the Based God himself, Lil B. This surprise drop may be fairly short in length but it more than makes up for this in attitude and charisma. Skepta’s presence on the mic is nearly unmatched in tenacity, and between perfect production choices and an endless supply of memorable lines, the energy is brought in each track. I’ve been listening to the EP all day and I can honestly say I haven’t gotten bored of it once. Skepta is back, and he’s back with a vengeance. Listen to Vicious below.
