En route to their forthcoming album, Vacation In Hell, the Flatbush Zombies are currently two for two on singles. The first shot was the lead single off of the project, “Headstone”, and today, the Zombies are back to hit the second shot with a new track titled “U&I” featuring Dia. This soulful display of the lyrical prowess and unforgiving personality that we have come to love the Brooklyn artists so much for is undoubtedly a standout showcase of who the Flatbush Zombies are in essence. The song details themes of mental illness, addiction, and the constant quest for happiness amidst all of the success, taking fans deep into the minds of such creative geniuses with a genuine touch and incredibly personal lyrics. Match this to a rich blend of angelic vocals and girtty drums, and you have a hell of a release to maintain the momentum moving forward. Based on what we’ve heard so far, Vacation In Hell is sounding like it’s going to do some serious damage upon release, so don’t sleep. Listen to “U&I” below and get ready for the new project coming April 6th.
