Just in time for the warm weather, it seems as though countless artists have been releasing their attempts at “song of the summer” as of late. What this means is that the melodies are getting brighter, the deliveries more energetic, and best of all, the songs are only getting catchier as they go. Here to make his mark on the soundtrack of the summer is ItzWonderfull with his brand new offering, “Toxic.”
First things first, “Toxic” is definitely one of my top picks as a premier summer release so far. The New Jersey talent’s inimitable energy is one thing, but what really hooks me onto this one is the rhythmic magic of the deliveries. Without missing a beat, ItzWonderfull catches each and every opportunity to add some flavor to his flows, and the result is a tune that checks off every box to take over the summer.
That said, ItzWonderfull has been known to make hits, but this song, in particular, has to be my favorite of his releases to date. Don’t just take my word for it, though — see for yourself by clicking play on “Toxic” below!
