Thru The Night – [Jack Harlow] ft. [Bryson Tiller]

Dipping your fries in a frosty. Arya and The Hound. Snoop Dogg and Martha Stewart. Sometimes it’s the unexpected blends that result in the most interesting flavors.

Though they share the same hometown, I never would have expected (or even thought of) Jack Harlow and Bryson Tiller hopping on the same track. With his latest video-assisted offering, “Thru The Night,” however, Harlow recruits the fellow Louisvillian and the result is an absolutely stellar effort that might just catapult him into stardom.

As is par for the course for Harlow, he brings youthful energy. Normally, it’s packaged in a more gritty presentation, but here, when paired alongside Tiller’s glossy style and a sped-up vocal chop, Harlow impreses showcasing a cleaner feel that will definitely attract a broader audience.  Even with a colorful, fresh sound, he still manages to capture his vintage Southern soul, paying homage to roller rinks and Gangsta Grillz sponsored switch-up to cap things off.

“Thru The Night” feels like Harlow is swinging for the fences, and bringing a sound that is more accessible while still staying true to his roots, he may have just hit it out of the park.
