This Woman’s Work/Lifetime – [Tone Stith]

In July of 2017, Drake posted a clip of a young artist performing a cover of “Madiba Riddim” with the caption “casually bodying rehearsal.” That young artist is Tone Stith, a New Jersey singer, songwriter, and producer who has been making waves on his SoundCloud and YouTube accounts over the past year with various covers and music of his own. The 21-year-old artist is back today with a soulful new track titled “This Woman’s Work/Lifetime,” a tribute to neo-soul legend Maxwell. In typical fashion, Stith ignites the two-part affair with his awe-inspiring falsetto. It’s an illustrious display of his skill and potential for mass appeal that will have listeners captivated from start to finish. All of this is to say that Stith’s raw talent should have the world of R&B on notice. Don’t miss “This Woman’s Work/Lifetime,” and let us know your thoughts on the track in the comments below.
