Temptation – [Verbosity]

Close your eyes and imagine a combination of TLC and Destiny’s Child. This is what I hear when listening to the female rap trio, Verbosity, coming out of South Philly.

Their latest single titled “Temptation” is an emotional ballad containing both luscious and angelic melodies and hard-hitting bars. Each member of the group delves into their past relationships and sheds a light on how traumatic a bad breakup could be.

With an impressive flow comes even more impressive lyrics such as, “You ever felt the need to get some type of closure and reopen up a chapter in a series that was over?”

“Temptation,” produced by Rio Drumz, possesses heartbreaking strings that go along perfectly with the sentiment the rappers/singers deliver.

In an era in which many female artists are popping up in the rap scene, Verbosity is truly one of a kind. Combining their singing ability with their rapping ability, both at such a high level, has truly caught my attention.

Verbosity is about to take over.
