When I found out emawk was dropping something new on December 12th, the anticipation was overwhelming. Although he’s been a regular on our pages for some time, it’s always a treat getting to write about his new music on our platform. My job isn’t to make you a fan of this rising star, but instead to just simply expose you guys to great music; which is something that Emawk consistently makes.
Today, it’s our honor to showcase emawk’s brand new offering entitled, “tea”. This fresh single is one that will leave you stunned. When people ask me what’s my favorite song by this up and comer, I usually identify with whatever his most recent song is. I say that because every time emawk releases a song, it makes you wonder how its possible for an artist to get better and better over time. Most music makers in the industry put out music just to put out music, but this special talent finds a way to level up every time he puts something out. Just like wine gets better with time, emawk has mastered the ability to make sure every song he drops is better than the last one.
Tea is a beautiful ballad that will have you singing along with the melodies and harmonies that are present during the entire 3 minutes. The infectious guitar strum carries this song in a way that leaves so much room for emawk to express his rawest emotions and feelings. Whats makes this day even better is that a video was released to go along with the single. The visuals are simple yet captivating as the camera follows emawk through the city streets on a rainy day. For the audio and visual lovers out there, this music video is a well rounded and complete treat.
emawk is a blessing to myself and so many others. I can’t envision music without this gem and its so cool that he continues to bless us with great music. I’ve attached the music video down below for “tea”; but you can also find the song on every streaming platform!
