Jay Rock continues his campaign of dominance by releasing the sixth video from his recent critically acclaimed album, Redemption. The visuals for the intimate track, “Tap Out”, features Chicago’s own, Jeremih and Jay Rock on the set of a video shoot. The video, directed by Karena Evans, leans on a futuristic theme that utilizes neon lights and white minimalistic surroundings. Jay Rock and Jeremih are draped in bright colors that contrast their interaction with a set of white props giving the video a Tron-like setting. The bright, cinematic visual furthers Jay Rock’s candidacy for album of the year in creating a coherent storyline between song and visuals. The TDE camp never seems to disappoint and do not appear to be slowing down in releasing content for their first signee’s rollout.
