Stop whatever you’re doing right now and listen to this new song from Chicago native, “Talladega Nights (Emily’s Song).” KoVu has been on my radar for a little while now, and the release of the second chapter in his Romantic Savage series dropped earlier today and it’s nothing short of spectacular. The song starts off with a hip beat you can vibe to with KoVu telling us how he’s feeling great with everything he’s got in life right now and that he feels like the man. About halfway through the song though he switches everything up and it’s awesome. He speeds things up a big and instead of rapping, he showcases his singing abilities which are much better than average. In the second half of the time he tries to convince this girl to be with him and not just have him as a rebound because no one else knows this girl better than he does. Seriously, stop what you are doing and check this track out. Trust me, you’ll thank me later.
