HURT EVERYBODY
Hurt Everybody is Chicago’s premier rap band that has an ever growing fan base. The first time I heard of Hurt Everybody was last summer. Their debut tape, Hurt Everybody EP, released last July and featured many Chicago heavy hitters such as Saba, Alex Wiley, and Mick Jenkins, and a surprise verse from NBA guard, Iman Shumpert. From beginning to end, the EP is statement of sonic value. Hurt Everybody is able to keep fans fed by releasing music through their soundcloud at random, but also not over saturating their fan base by balancing new music with performances. Bottom line is, those Hurt Boys got the city going crazy right now. Here are 5 songs that made me a Hurt Everybody fan. Catch them live at the Lyrical Lemonade Showcase 4.0 May 23rd along with SD and other special guests.
#1 – Hurt Everybody / Hurt Intro
