All week long, we’ve been covering stellar new releases coming out of Massachusetts here on Lyrical Lemonade, and today, adding to the list, we have yet another budding talent from MA by the name of Garrett Merk. Presenting his brand new single, “Sometimes”, Merk’s latest is a thoughtful display of the true-to-self artistry that I’ve come to know and love him for, and consequently, it’s also a perfect introduction to such a promising up-and-coming act. Featuring guitar-led production courtesy of Frace, this offering takes on the hardships of life as a musician head-on, using pure honesty as its weapon of choice all throughout the offering. Per usual, Merk is able to bring listeners face-to-face with the topics that have been weighing on his mind lately, and as a result, “Sometimes” is yet another fantastic addition to his catalog.
