I’ve been hip to Indiana artist Drayco McCoy for quite some time at this point, and today, he’s here on our pages with one of his most creatively ambitious and well-executed songs to date, “Solo Dolo,” produced by Jed Bleu.
Backed by an absolute monster of an instrumental, this song uses the mesmerizing, bellowing presence of the production to fuel the energy behind McCoy’s vocals. One line after another, the Indiana artist balances his animated deliveries with a hard-nosed wall of sound, and resulting is an outside-the-box offering filled with rhythmic appeal.
That said, while “Solo Dolo” is definitely one of the weirder and more abstract offerings from Drayco McCoy to date, I must say that Jed Bleu absolutely snapped on this one, pushing McCoy in a direction that I’ve never really seen him go toward in the past.
Don’t just take my word for it, though — stream “Solo Dolo” at the link provided below and let us know what you think in the comments!
