French producer Onelight has recruited the assistance of Memphis rapper Daz Rinko for their energetic collaboration, “Solar Plexus.” The combined talents of both artists shine on their collaborative debut that highlights the strength in believing in yourself and trusting the process.
The record opens up with a series of looped electrically-singed synths that creates a solid foundation for Daz Rinko to operate. Acting as the track’s ringmaster, Daz finds an unconventional pocket that is occupied by few. Feverishly annotating his relentless drive, Daz throws industry standards of success out the window, following his own chosen metrics. The “Black Boy Joy” rapper’s enthusiastic optimism is captivating from the start of the record and is only amplified by the energy crafted by Onelight behind the boards. The collaboration between these two artists would be entirely impossible without the internet to bridge the continental gap making this link up truly special.
This is the first time Onelight has graced our site but is the second time for the Tennessee stylings of Daz Rinko who made his site debut for his song, “Black Boy Joy,” in 2017. You can stream the latest single here and show Daz and Onelight your support by following them on Twitter.
