Yesterday, Talib Kweli and Niko IS came together to bring us a video for their song “Smoke Somethin’.” This catchy track was well-complimented by a unique visual. Throughout the visual, Talib and Niko are seen in a tropical setting to give this fast-passed track a mellow vibe. The director included some interesting editing techniques, particularly in the introduction with a pair of floating lips mouthing the lyrics. This track was off of Talib’s album called “Awful People are Great at Parties,” which dropped earlier this month.
