Every once in a while, tracks are announced that are guaranteed to top the charts. Calvin Harris’ “Slide” is a perfect example of one of those tracks; with features from the reclusive Frank Ocean in his first major feature since the release of Blonde last summer and verses from Quavo and Offset of Migos, it’s got all the star power necessary for a hit. “Slide” has some extremely bright, poppy production (as to be expected from Calvin Harris) that has us fiending for warmer beach days. Frank’s hook is irresistible, and while Quavo’s verse is quality as usual, Offset comes through with a super smooth verse that nearly steals the entire song.
You can already expect to hear Slide at every event for the next few months, so we’d recommend listening to it below ASAP.
