Houston legend Sauce Walka, in association with upcoming music content channel 4 Shooters Only, has released a powerful live visual to his heartfelt song titled “Crash,” and it’s already creating waves in the hip-hop world. Filmed at SXSW in Austin, the video captures the raw emotions of the song and delivers them in a simple, yet visceral way that the content channel has become incredibly proficient at.
“Crash” is a deeply personal song that sees Sauce Walka reflecting on stories of struggle, including poverty, violence, and loss. The lyrics are raw and honest, and this form of video recording only adds to the authenticity of the track.
The visual (part of the “From The Block” series), like others by this channel, features three camera angles in one single shot, as he delivers his verses with intensity and conviction as his people bob their heads and process the track behind him. This style coined by 4 Shooters Only has become one of my favorites, and a super simplistic way of giving artists accompanying visuals to their tracks.
Though Sauce’s career is one that needs no introduction, this new joint is sure to quickly become a fan favorite, with 45K views in less than a day. Check it out below!
