Sacked Up – [Mike Smiff] ft. [Boosie Badazz] X [Trick Daddy]

There is always a distinct rhythmic bounce and grittiness that can be found nowhere else but Southern Hip-Hop.

On the grind for years, Mike Smiff, recent Slip N Slide records signee has recently released his newest project, All Gas No Breaks Vol. 3, with major features from artists such as Boosie Badazz, City Girls, and more. With head nods and co-signs from fellow Southern rappers Kodak Black and Boosie, the rapper is destined to be one of the biggest coming out of the area.

One song off his project stands out to me in particular, “Sacked Up,” featuring Boosie and Trick Daddy. Drawing comparisons to a young Jeezy, Smiff’s delivery and energy is perfect on the familiar yet unique Southern vibe. Boosie and Trick Daddy provide vintage assists giving the song the necessary stamp of approval and swagger it needs.

Produced by Make It Bang, the song is an absolute Southern classic. With a killer baseline, and extremely enticing and memorable lead melody, I will be cranking this song and the rest of the project for the remainder of the summer.
