You just gotta love Tik-Tok. Not only is it a great outlet for some of the funniest individuals on the internet, it is also one of the best platforms to come across hot and emerging talent. My latest Tik-Tok find is a group of guys who go by the name, The Ugly Boys. With an attention grabbing alias like that, it’s only right to expect nothing but entertainment from these dudes and that’s exactly what we get.
Made up of 19 year old group members, Jacob Pfeffermann, Sam Bortnick and Quinn Cury, the Santa Cruz native group all met through middle school, but didn’t start making music together until High School.
Today, the three talented up and comers are making it into Lyrical Lemonade for the release of their brand new song, “Run Away!” Driven by a viral moment that saw Sam and Jacob’s dads reacting to the song, the boys are now poised to make this track one of their biggest yet. From start to finish you will love the energy that’s present in their new offering! According to the boys, everything we hear is recorded, produced, written, mixed, and mastered in Jacob’s bedroom; which is just a testament to their passionate DIY approach!
