As always, Canada continues to produce some of the most promising talent in the industry, and today, I’ve got another one to showcase after the release of an absolutely unreal song. You’ve seen her on our pages before, but it’s only right to bring back Liza to our pages today for her brand new song called, “ROLLA”.
Liza sent me this track a little bit before it was officially out and for the last few weeks, it’s been hard trying to keep this one a secret. I found myself tempted to play it for anyone and everyone who I crossed paths with and that’s truly just a testament to how great it is. When you strip away the production and everything that holds this song together, Liza is a storyteller. She uses her words to convey feelings and experiences in hopes that it may serve as a consolation to anyone who can relate. It’s one thing to use music as a place of refuge for yourself, but it’s another thing to create a place of refuge for others through your music and that’s what Liza does.
This brand new song boasts amazing production, beautiful melodies and mesmerizing harmonies all while creating a space for Liza to pour her heart out to her listeners. The song is a lengthy one which is wild since I wish it was an extra 5 minutes longer. I just never want it to stop. Liza is creating some of her best work and “ROLLA” is perfect proof of that.
