Rapping on Kaytranada beats are always tricky. There’s something about the distinctive slow-bounce he brings that only some rappers can match and flow on. Luckily, Chicago’s Jarrett Rad is able to do that on this track. While doing some pretty decent story telling about a girl and a crazy night, Jarrett keeps his flow consistent over the Montreal producer’s Justin Timberlake flip. Its a short but concise track, as Jarrett does a good job at making sure every line he spits counts. Jarrett has been steadily building his catalog with solid songs such as this one. Word is he’s putting in work on an EP for later this year, so heads up for that when it comes through.
