Rich The Kid Breaks Down Lyrics & Meaning Behind Latest Single ‘New Freezer’

Rich The Kid’s latest hit New Freezer is arguably the biggest song he’s ever put out, with a huge factor being the King of Rap jumping on the track in Kendrick Lamar. And recently, he visited the good people at Genius for one of their ‘Verified’ segments in which an artist pulls-apart the lyrics and further discusses the meaning of the record, and he did just that. The label-owner of the Rich Forever wave always has a flare to him in any sort of public appearance, so it was only right he first went ahead and confirmed the legitimacy of his icy diamonds ranging in price from $35-45K respectively. Ironically enough, the title of the track pays ode to new jewelry with the term ‘New Freezer’ being an iced-out watch or necklace that is dripping with diamonds, and the Ben Jayne-produced track covers all of that & more with Kendrick’s verse even stating:

“I milly rock when I get that advance, How can I shop with like 64 M’s?”

That’s about all the explaining you’ll need, so without further ado, check out Genius’ latest video with Rich The Kid below and give New Freezer a chance if you haven’t already done so.
