With collaborations ranging from the likes of Lil Yachty and Young Thug all the way to commercials for Kylie Jenner and Target, it goes without saying that Glassface is quite a prominent name in the visual art world. In fact, I’m sure that a lot of our readers have come across Glassface’s work with none other than LL favorite tobi lou! One fact that may be lesser known about the top-tier visual artist, however, is that Glassface is also a producer, singer, and songwriter under the name Facer. Today, we have the pleasure to premiere the latest release from the multi-faceted creative, “Spiral.”
First things first, I must say that despite Glassface’s prowess as a visual artist, he’s a hell of a musician, as well. Facer isn’t some half-serious side project; rather, it’s a remarkably impressive outlet of creativity that defies the boundaries of genre, pushing the sonic needle forward in the process. With “Spiral,” Facer puts this on full display, blending mesmeric production with ethereal vocal runs to maintain a uniquely alluring sound.
Only adding to the otherworldy magic here, the complementary visuals bring “Spiral” to the next level. Of course, being that the artist otherwise known as Glassface is behind this one, it should come as no surprise that the music video is incredible, but that shouldn’t take away from how impressive this release is, all the way through. The music is fantastic, the visuals act as a natural and necessary extension to the song, and as a whole, Facer hit the nail right on the head.
