The New England area is currently home to a variety bag of budding talents, and amidst the states leading the pack is Connecticut, filled to the brim with buzzing artists and endless creativity that will surely turn some heads toward the region. More specifically, within CT, one of the scene’s brightest young artists is Lonny X — a frequent flyer here at LL and an artist who never seems to settle, both in sound and in style, as his sound becomes increasingly refined. Today, we’re more than excited to bring Lonny back to our pages with the premiere of his brand new single, “Dreams”.
Produced by frequent collaborator Gravez, “Dreams” is the first offering from the Connecticut representative in the new year. Melodic in its instrumentation and remarkably focused in regards to deliveries, this single takes a look at the mindset that Lonny has adopted going into 2019, dead-set on success with his eyes to the sky. The lyrics reflect a level of determination that will surely work wonders toward propelling his career toward where it should be over the next 12 months, and matching this intensity are trunk-rattling bass kicks, seemingly nodding to the aspirations and true-to-self declarations led forth in the lyrics. “Dreams” plays the line between ambition and reality, letting us all know that Lonny X knows exactly where he wants to go and how he’s going to get there; and if there’s one artist who can, and will, get there, it’s the man himself.
