MIKE and Medhane are two of my favorite artists right now, and today, they’re here on Lyrical Lemonade to join forces on a brand new offering, “Prayers”. Arriving alongside the announcement of MIKE’s forthcoming project, War In My Pen, due for release December 21st, this off-kilter track points directly at the intersecting strengths between the two budding talents. “Prayers” is honest and soulful, using its eclectic instrumentation to fuel a supply of dense, true-to-self rhymes from both MIKE and Medhane. These two are truly pushing the bounds of rap right now and doing it all on their own terms, so make sure you give them the flowers they deserve. Watch the music video for “Prayers” below and follow MIKE and Medhane on Twitter here and here, respectively!
