If you’re a fan of hard 808’s and catchy verses that are sure to get stuck in your head, Yo Gotti gifts us with the perfect song for you. “Pose (Rremix)” is a revamped version of the origin song released in August. Gotti had already recruited Lil Uzi Vert to hop on the original, and they kept their parts the same as the previous version. I’d be lying if I said I was a bit let down that they didn’t do something new or experimental on this hit, but Megan Thee Stallion dropped in to lay down a fresh verse and bring an insane amount of confidence and fierceness to the track. The hook, performed by Gotti, basically repeats the word “pose” over and over before he moves on and gives instructions for different positions as if he’s photographing someone. Uzi’s part has some incredible flows and switches up quite a bit, which keeps it entertaining considering I had only heard the original a few times prior to this. All in all, this song is simple but there’s no denying it goes super hard and if I was forced to pick who stole the show, I’d have to give props to Megan for going off like usual.
