If you were able to stop by Joey Purp’s show at The Metro last Friday, you got a early taste of this brand new track titled “PLAYIN FAIR” when Joey brought out Towkio mid way through his set. Yesterday, Towkio released the record via soundcloud & it’s very clear that these two have a banger on their hands, as they have already racked up nearly 20,000 plays in just twenty four hours. The production on this one was handled by Smoko Ono & Garren, who put together one of the best instrumentals I have heard so far this year. Between this new record & his last release “GWM,” it’s obvious that Towkio has progressed a great amount since last years “.WAV Theory” project, peep the new song below & let us know what your thoughts on it in the comments.
