If you’re a regular on our pages, chances are you’ve come across J.R. Donato a handful of times. With a catalog of standout joints in recent memory including the DuffleBagBuru-assisted heater Blowin Smoke, we here at Lyrical Lemonade are proud to premiere his latest offering in Peak’n produced by DJ Capcomm & Vinny D. At just over 3 minutes in length, J.R. had a field day over the piano-laced beat with his wicked flows on sipping double cups, snatching bodies and calling out the fake-flexing rappers in the industry, without saying any particular names. I’ve come to be familiar with the promising Taylor Gang artist ever since we featured him on our Top 50 Projects list back in 2016 with his Why So Serious? tape, and ever since then it’s been nothing but major moves from the Chicago-born spitter. Could there be a possibility of another J.R. Donato tape in 2018?
