Peach Emoji – [youngsixflags] feat. [Father]

As we gear up for the summer of 2021, and arguably one of the most impressive summers musically that we have seen in a while, it is now time for artists to get back out there and get back into the flow of things. With the pandemic taking a hit on many artists, it altered a lot of plans for many. Cities are now opening up, and shows are starting to get booked–that said, it’s time for the “song of the summer” discussion. It’s without a doubt that this will be one of those summers where the songs with the catchiest hooks and high-BPM tempos will be the songs that are in rotation at every single function. Even with the mainstream acts trying to provide those, I still applaud the underground acts who strive to provide that fire as well. Today, youngsixflags makes an appearance with his latest single “Peach Emoji”, which is accompanied by a feature from Father.

Currently residing in Brooklyn, NY, youngsixflags is an interesting artist due to the diversity in his upcoming. Being from two of the biggest musically influential regions in the states, The Bay and Atlanta, youngsixflags has managed to combine both worlds and pull bits and pieces of the vibes that stem from each area. Recently making an appearance on the Action Park mixtape by Dolphin Talk & Stephen Niday, he comes just in time with a fire record that is guaranteed to go off at many functions this summer. Featuring production by Dolphin Talk, Stephen Niday, and NeilaWorld producers Hassan2k & Callari, youngsixflags and Father trade verses as they provide the anthem that will get many peach emojis moving all summer long.

In speaking to youngsixflags about the record, he stated:

“peach emoji” is the first single off my upcoming project OAKLANTA which is really me trying to musically capture what it felt like growing up both in The Bay and the A. I recorded the track a little while back after my dudes Stephen Niday and Dolphin Talk had a session with Hassan2K, Callari, and a couple other NeilaWorld producers. This track in particular feels more Atlanta based to me and is a celebration of ass, so it only felt right to ask Father to hop on it and he bodied it. It was the perfect complement.
