Nigerian songwriter and producer AYLO is an international act that you should get accustomed to. A perfect introduction to him and his movement should be AYLO’s new track “Paris.” This single premiered on Ebro’s Apple Beats 1 Radio show last week and this was one of the singles that stood out to me the most. The narrative of “Paris” is about a feeling of doubt and holding on to excess baggage that may be lingering from a previous relationship. Video director Candles is able to capture some stunning shots that hold a lot of hidden symbolism in the video. One of those messages you notice when the video first begins and you realize it’s been shot in greyscale. AYLO stated via The Fader that people are distracted by colors and perception of things that the beauty within often goes unnoticed.
