Newcomer, Bela Pierce has her eyes set on stardom and I’m completely here for it. Before this week, I was unfamiliar with her, but now, I’m completely attentive to the moves that she’s making. On Friday, she released a song called, “Nordstrom” and at first glance you’re probably thinking that this can’t be about the popular retail store, but it indeed it is. Admittedly, Bela wrote this song about her job and a boy who worked in shoes while she worked upstairs in clothing.
From my experience in music, some of the best songs come from some of the most unassuming stories and this is definitely one of them. Diving into her past with an experience that she will never forget, Bela has managed to create a song that will be played for a long time after its initial week. Already gracing Spotify playlists, the sky is the limit for this singer/songwriter as she takes a huge leap in the right direction when it comes to her artistry. It’s very evident that her team is hard at work to make sure she’s put in the best position to succeed since this rollout was nothing short of an impressive one.
