Pittsburgh’s Tairey recently collided with Linwood for their new single “No Man’s Horse.” Tairey floats over this spacey, drugged-out instrumental and spits some introspective and lyrically dense bars that bleed into Linwood’s dark vocals. This track is woozy and transports you to another dimension. Tairey’s bars land precise and it is obvious that he is being fully genuine in his lyrics. There is an evident ambivalent frustration in this song that helps endear this pair to their audiences. This was my introduction to these two and I am eager to see what else they have to offer going forward.
