Karen Hardy is a gem who I have the privilege of unearthing for everyone today. I’m not sure what I was doing when I came across her, but I’m so happy that I did, since her music and voice have been a constant on my Spotify playlists for some time now. I became enamored by Karen after checking out her music video for one of her recent songs called, “Really Wanna”. The creative direction in this one was stunning as Karen frolicked around set while blessing us with her soulful voice. Pure nostalgia set in as I realized that I could hear vocal similarities to Ariana Grande and even Mariah Carey. Whichever way you boil it down though, Karen is just talented and today she’s delivered an offering to prove it.
Her newest song, “Never Do” is an infectious piece that will give you a glimpse of who Karen Hardy is as an artist. From the moment this one starts, you’ll instantly notice her unbelievable range and extensive control. The New Jersey native has an undeniable gift and this song points to that fact. The production throughout the offering is utterly soothing as it creates a relaxing ambience that you’ll want to remain in for a while.
“Never Do” will brighten your day on this fine Thursday. Karen Hardy is establishing herself as an artist to watch and I’m here for it. I’ve attached the Spotify link down below, so give this one a listen and let us know what you think!
