Australia’s own Manu Crooks is making his Lyrical Lemonade debut today with his first project “Mood Forever,” and it’s looking like he’s well on his way to putting the hip-hop scene from Down-Under on the map. At 6 tracks deep, the Sydney-based artist didn’t take his foot off the gas-pedal for a second with the first track “Day Ones” kicking off the energy throughout the entire EP. Adding to that, the lone feature on the project came from fellow Aussie vocalist JOY who appears on “Touchdown” and saw executive production from Miracle & Dopam!ne who cooked up some impressive instrumentals. This happens to be my first time checking out Manu, and I was pleasantly surprised by the undeniable energy and lyricism that he brought to the table. If you ask me, it’s only a matter of time before this guy gets the attention he deserves, so you’d best get familiar with him right now. Do yourself a favor and give the “Mood Forever” EP a spin and let us know if you’re rocking with Manu Crooks in the comments below!
