Hailing from Denver, Colorado, a budding artist by the name of Dava is here today to make her presence known with a materialistic new love song, “Money On Me”. Focused around the idea of spending money on the one you love, Dava proclaims that she doesn’t want much, just some diamonds — oh, and fast cars, too. Fast cars never hurt. The pop-induced record blurs the line between love and materialism, and using a lively instrumental and a supply of heavenly cadences as its two weapons of choice, “Money On Me” finds the sweet spot between replay value and authenticity. That said, Dava’s music uses pure talent as leverage and subject matter as its goal, bringing forth an addictive sound that will certainly continue to put up numbers all throughout 2019.
