Isaac Dunbar only has three tracks out, but all of them are bops so far — just look at his latest, “Mime”, for proof! Indie pop may have reached an all-time high in 2018, partially because the internet has spawned so many DIY artists and partially because everyone and their mother wants to make music currently. Dope emerging talent will always shine through the clutter, however, and Isaac Dunbar is doing just that, as he has found his footing and made some serious noise at the early age of only 15 years old! Being that young, most of his content centers around the social issues and high school obstacles that teenagers go through, and similarly, “Mime” jumps into the world of a young girl who is currently in a toxic relationship, allowing Dunbar to realize the love that she deserves but it not receiving. As the song progresses, the girl reaches her breaking point and finally, right at the end, she realizes that the fling won’t ever change and leaves.
This one proves that Dunbar is on his way to stardom, so check out “Mime” below and let us know what you think in the comments!
