Supa Bwe keeps proving over and over again why he deserves to be amongst the current Chicago hip hop greats. Mausoleum EP is a great flex of Supa’s sonic capabilities. As always he delivers a sound like none other. Mausoleum differs from his other solo projects in amount of features with four of the seven tracks being a collaborative effort. Supa enjoys the help of likes of Blakkass Westley, Cadillac Duke, and Mick Jenkins among other friends. A special element that Supa uses to his advantage is his ability to start and finish projects incredibly well. Mausoleum opens with an abstract title track produced by Caleb Stone, declaring “I’m not tripping! Just getting better.” and getting better he is. The project ends with Judas (outro) – an excellent tune that’s initially a bit deep, but even deeper when Supa explains it on his RapGenius page. Mick Jenkins also offers a cool verse that only he can deliver. Check out the Mausoleum EP below and let us know what you think!
