M.I.a. – [Tink]

Chicago artist Tink is newly independent, having decided to officially part ways with Timbaland and his Mosley Music Group. That being said, the sultry singer seems to be doing just fine on her own, with her latest EP Pain & Pleasure showcasing a significant level of artistic growth. The stunning six-track offering explores the two-sided nature of love, and is full of some of Tink’s best songwriting to date. “M.I.a.” is a vibrant standout track from the thematic affair, characterized by the smooth transitions from singing to rapping that helped the gifted songstress grace the 2015 XXL Freshman cover. Tink is turning over a new leaf on this latest EP, and with her refreshing new perspective she seems poised to bring fans Winter’s Diary 5 sometime in the near future. In any case, Pain & Pleasure should tide over fans who have witnessed the development of Tink’s promising talent over the years. Check out “M.I.a.” below and let us know your thoughts on Pain & Pleasure in the comments.
