We’re going old school for this one. The incredibly talented and undeniable OG, Busta Rhymes returns to deliver yet another classic. Now when Busta comes, he comes hard and he returns with one of the best lyricists of all time, Kendrick Lamar. The two work perfectly together really fusing together the different styles of rap. The track is ushered in with the iconic Jackson 5 sample, “I’ll Be There”. The track elegantly layers a simple instrumental with some of the most complex lyrics such as, “My life is like twelve open mics of hopeless notes I write” and “Rap kept burnin’ ’til they anointed me one of the kings of black history”. The track delivers hypnotic and intense rhymes from both artists that are sure to leave you astonished. Without a doubt, both of the artists delivered big times with such a great track. It’s clear why both of them have been considered some of the greatest of their time.
