Over the last few years, Texas has become a hotspot for emerging artists. Rising rapper Lil Jairmy has quickly gone from a local celebrity to now landing a deal with 300 Entertainment earlier this year. Since the age of 3, Jairmy began freestyling with his brother. However, everything changed once he turned 15, and decided to take music seriously. After releasing his first record “Trapped Out” with J Ward, everything became history. After completing a short bid in jail, Jairmy came out bigger than ever before. The first project he dropped was Excuse My Absence in 2019 with a feature from Lil Baby. Once Jairmy released his breakthrough single “No Luggage,” there was no denying that Jairmy had a special talent, and it was time for the world to find out.
On September 9, Lil Jairmy released his highly anticipated new mixtape Gas God 2, the second iteration of the Gas God mixtape. This project featured guest appearances from Moneybagg Yo, EST Gee, Future, and the late Lil Keed. He also recruited GRAMMY® Award-nominated producer Hitmaka to assist on this tape.
“It was great working with Hitmaka. It was a new experience for me but I enjoyed it,” he explained. “When we first linked up, that was my first time working with someone in the studio the way we did so I wasn’t sure how it was going to go but it came out great. He really helped with the arrangement of the song and gave advice on different flows.
Three days ago, Jairmy released the music video to “On Me” featuring Future. Accompanied by beautiful women on a lavish yacht, Pluto and Jairmy teamed up to create the perfect banger to end the summer.
