Even if you haven’t heard of Francis & The Lights, you’ve likely heard him somewhere before from collaborations with the likes of Kanye, Frank Ocean and most notably, Chance The Rapper. Today, Francis surprised listeners with his second full album, titled “Just For Us.” Building off of last year’s “Farewell, Starlite!,” Francis treats us with more of the atmospheric, synth-heavy sound he’s become known for. His vocals sound unlike anyone else right now as he turns himself into a one-man choir infused with futuristic effects. Although at times he sounds like he’s half-robot, Francis’ music still feels warm in a very human way, capping the year off with 10 new songs that make the snow melt in the dead of winter.
