In all honesty, I firmly believe that Matt Ox’s last album, OX, was firm proof that he’s going to be around for a while. Even if people discounted him as a meme at first, Ox was sure to develop his sound and style, impressing with a well-rounded, hard-hitting project on which he doesn’t swear even once. Today, the budding star revisits the project with a new music video for one of its standout cuts, “Jetlag” alongside Chief Keef.
Fueled by the glassy melodies and bass-backed instrumental, this song is a banger at its core, and quite possibly its most alluring feature is the fact that Ox and Keef hold such a profoundly entertaining sense of chemistry with one another. In the accompanying visuals, this becomes apparent, as they dance alongside one another on a plane (hence, “Jetlag”) and deliver one of the more exciting, colorful music videos the year so far.
As if “Jetlag” wasn’t already great enough, this visual companion acts as perfect support, so check this out below and let us know what you think in the comments!
